Manitoba Users’ Group Conference a Success.

Diagnostic Services of Manitoba ‘Live’ with Quadrant HR

Diagnostic Services of Manitoba (DSM) is ‘live’ with Quadrant HR’s Payroll, Human Resources and Staff Scheduling modules. With the implementation of Quadrant HR, DSM replaced their service-bureau payroll application and several paper-based Human Resources processes.

DSM is the not-for-profit corporation responsible for all of Manitoba’s public laboratory services and for rural diagnostic imaging services.

Northern Lights Health Region ‘Live’ with Staff Scheduling Software

The Northern Lights Health Region went ‘live’ with Quadrant HR’s Staff Scheduling software.

This Staff Scheduling software replaces an existing third-party system enabling Northern Lights to realize the full benefits of seamless integration with Quadrant HR’s Payroll software, which has been in use since June 2000. Manual processes and interfaces to third-party systems will no longer be required.

QHR Software is pleased to have Northern Lights join our many clients already using Quadrant HR’s Staff Scheduling software for their workforce of over 1,400.

The Northern Lights Health Region is located in northern Alberta and is geographically the largest health region in Alberta. They cover more than 20 communities and provide services to more than 100,000 people.

Quadrant HR Version 2.8.1 | Release Status

Quadrant HR version 2.8.1 reached general release status this week. The QHR Support department will be posting the 2.8.1 release page on iSupport after the Easter long weekend. More details will coming soon.

QHR Software Sponsors Canadian Human Resource Portal

In December 2003, Paul Martin took office as Prime Minister of Canada, the federal government department known as Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) was split into two new departments: Social Development Canada (SDC) and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC). In February 2006, the new Conservative Government of Steven Harper reunited SDC and HRSDC under the umbrella of Human Resources and Social Development Canada (HRSDC).

This has left the current state of Canadian Government web sites a little fractured in our opinion. Not ever wanting to wait until things fix themselves, QHR has sponsored the development of a new online resource for those seeking simplified Human Resource information called Qresource.

Qresource is a Canadian Human Resource information portal that makes finding HR management solutions, articles, tips, news and links a little easier.

Stay tuned for more information about Qresource. The site is scheduled to officially launch in early February.

Commissionaires Great Lakes ‘Live’ with Quadrant HR

QHR Software Inc. is pleased to announce Commissionaires – Great Lakes is now ‘live’ with Quadrant HR’s Human Resources module. This will enable the Commissionaires to automate their HR workflow and administer information for their workforce of 1,100 employees.

The Commissionaires will use the HR tool for talent management including recruiting, training, development, health and safety, and various other HR functions.

The Commissionaires are also underway with the implementation of Quadrant HR’s Staff Scheduling module with a targeted launch for early 2007.

Commissionaires Great Lakes is a leading provider of security solutions and contract services to individuals, business and government. They deliver an array of services including bylaw enforcement and criminal background checks to condominium security and special courier services. Commissionaires is a not-for-profit corporation, comprised primarily of men and women who have served in the Armed Forces, the RCMP and other police and government agencies.

St. Francis Memorial Hospital Chooses Quadrant HR Staff Scheduling

QHR Software Inc. is pleased to announce St. Francis Memorial Hospital, located in Barry’s Bay, Ontario, has selected Quadrant HR’s Staff Scheduling module. This will enable St. Francis to further streamline their scheduling process for their 130+ employees.

St.Francis has been ‘live’ with the Quadrant HR Payroll module since May 2002. The addition of Quadrant HR Staff Scheduling will eliminate the redundancies and frustrations associated with a manual scheduling. More important, the addition of Staff Scheduling will complement the Quadrant HR Payroll module they use today.

With the implementation of Quadrant HR for Staff Scheduling, St. Francis believes they can improve the efficiency of their scheduling department, decrease paper costs, make better decisions, and improve their scheduling process with a system that:

• is integrated and provides ‘one source of truth’ that can be relied upon;
• allows for improved reporting with exports to Excel;
• decreases the number of manual processes needed to change a shift
