Quadrant HR Version 2.6 released!

Tuesday, July 4th, 2006

QHR Software Inc. is pleased to announce the release of Quadrant HR™ 2.6. While this release offers many perfective enhancements for payroll, reporting, scheduling and human resources functionality, customers will benefit from the following new features:

Life Insurance gender smoking grid
A new method has been developed to calculate Optional Life and Spousal Life Insurance based on a grid structure relating to employee and employee status attributes, including age, gender, and whether the employee or spouse is a smoker or a non-smoker. The deduction is applied in relation to a coverage level selected by the employee.

New timecard event method – Applied Premium
A new timecard event method allows a client to specify a premium for an earning through a time card event rather than having to manually add the premium at the timecard level. This may be used in scenarios where a premium amount is required on an earning code for which the earning code is pensionable but the premium amount is not. This method generates a premium transaction based on the timecard entry to
which it is associated.

New Excel functionality for WYSIWYG and pooled employee reports available directly from schedules
A new pooled employee report is available, and is useful for identifying the right person to call in for a shift. The report uses one-click Excel integration in order to create a seniority call-in report, which is the same as the unit schedule, only it includes availability. A New Excel button for creating schedule reports directly from the open schedule screen view delivers powerful WYSIWYG reporting.

Transaction Server Reports
Version 2.6 of Quadrant HR contains Transaction Server Report capability. In previous versions, Transaction Reporting was available only in Client Reports. The new Transaction Reports combine all of the functionality of the original Client Reports with the ease of use and flexibility of Server Reports. These report types offer vastly increased performance allowing faster return of data and more flexible filter options.
