South Eastman Health Standardizes Staff Scheduling
Monday, July 24, 2006
South Eastman Health has successfully standardized Staff Scheduling processes and achieved consistency in application of collective agreements with the help of Quadrant HR™ Staff Scheduling. The Staff Scheduling module is currently implemented at over 50% of their regional scheduling units with the remaining units going 'live' by Fall 2006. South Eastman also uses Quadrant HR's Payroll module to pay over 850 employees.
South Eastman Health has 3 Acute Care Hospitals, 1 Corporate Office and 6 Community Offices in the south-eastern region of Manitoba and provides health care and services to 55,000 people.
Quadrant HR™ Staff Scheduling has helped them to:
- standardize their scheduling process
- centralize scheduling
- decrease labour requirements for the scheduling function
- decrease timesheet entry by 50%
- improve employee and manager understanding of collective agreements; and
- eliminate process redundancies.
"We now feel confident that the scheduler is paying employees properly," says Teri Kindrat, Labour Relations Officer "and we have made quantum leaps in data confidence versus before."
Once Staff Scheduling is 'live' at all sites by Fall 2006, they will continue their plans to implement Quadrant HR's Human Resources module to realize the full advantages of an integrated HRMS.
