Interlake Regional Health Authority ‘Live’ with new Payroll and Staff Scheduling System
Tuesday, July 25th, 2006
The Interlake Regional Health Authority implemented a new Payroll and Staff Scheduling solution called Quadrant HR™ within their region located in Manitoba, Canada.
In January 2006, Interlake began paying their 1,200 employees, located at 9 separate sites, using the Quadrant HR™ Payroll module. In the past, each location was responsible for producing payroll separately through a service bureau provider. They looked to QHR Software Inc. and their unique Quadrant HR™ solutions to help them realize productivity gains and improve cost controls through the use of unique HRMS technology.
Selkirk Hospital, an acute care facility within the region, is also ‘live’ with Quadrant HR™ Staff Scheduling.
Jackie Burzuik, Staffing Coordinator at Selkirk General Hospital says “I really like the timecard process. In our old scheduling system, every time I needed to make a change to an employees schedule, for example for meal breaks or if an employee stayed 30 minutes past their shift, I had to go into their individual timecard to update. I did this several times a day. But, with Quadrant HR™ I can make changes directly on the schedule with no need to manually update timecards. All schedule changes are instantly added to timecards which is so much easier and faster. Overall, once you get the hang of the it, it’s just an easier system to work in.”
