Manitoba Long Term Care Organization Chooses Quadrant Workforce

QHR Software is pleased to announce our newest Quadrant Workforce client; Taché Centre Foyer Valade (now called Actionmarguerite). This Catholic organization based in Winnipeg, Manitoba operates long-term care facilities for high-need patients and residents in a bilingual environment.  We look forward to implementing  the entire Workforce Management solution suite at Actionmarguerite in the coming months and we welcome the team aboard.

Victoria Cool Aid Society chooses Quadrant Workforce

Victoria Cool Aid Society has chosen the full Quadrant Workforce suite (Payroll, HR, Staff Scheduling and Self Service) for the workforce management requirements. We are thrilled to have Victoria Cool Aid Society on board as a client and look forward to implementing our workforce management solutions in 2011.

Located in Victoria, BC, Cool Aid operates a diverse range of social and health services for those in our community who are most vulnerable. Cool Aid is well known for their work in addressing issues related to housing, such as accessibility, affordability, alternative housing programs and homelessness. In addition to housing and shelter, Cool Aid also provides primary multi-disciplinary health care at the Cool Aid Health Centre. Southeast Personal Care Home chooses Quadrant Enterprise Management Solution

QHR is pleased to announce that Southeast Personal Care Home has selected the complete EMS suite for their personal care home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Through our work with the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Southeast Personal Care Home chose the Quadrant EMS suite for their workforce and financial management needs. Southeast Personal Care Home is a brand new personal care home based that is currently under construction and is anticipated to open this summer. We welcome Southeast Personal Care Home to the QHR family and look forward to working with them in the coming months.

QHR Attends Healthcare CEO Forum

QHR continues to invest to keep current with leadership issues facing Canadian Healthcare, attending the 5th annual Healthcare CEO Forum on February 16 in Montreal, Quebec. This national leadership conference is organized and hosted by CHSRF (www.chsrf.ca). We thank the CHSFT team for a great program. Attending the conference were approximately 150 hospital CEOs, Regional Health Authority leaders, Provincial Health Organization executives and other senior leaders from across Canada discussing topic such as:

- leadership accountability,
- quality improvement initiatives,
- the politics of health improvement,
- variations in care,
- integrated health systems, and
- ‘disinvestment’ strategies.

QHR connected with healthcare executives from across Canada, and valued the opportunity to hear great speakers such as the Honourable Deb Matthews, Ph.D., Minister of Health and Long Term Care for Ontario on the Excellence Care for All (ECFA) Act. Other speakers at this all-day session included;

QHR Technologies Raises $8 Million

QHR Software is pleased to announce that parent company QHR Technologies Inc. has successfully completed its previously disclosed public offering (see here). The offering was led by Paradigm Capital Inc. and includes Versant Partners Inc. and MGI Securities Inc. in a syndicate of agents.

This investment represents a strong show of support for QHR Technologies and its subsidiary companies, the success they have each had in the past and the direction they will be moving in the future. We are thrilled to start the year with this announcement as we look to make 2011 another successful year. Clients can feel comfortable knowing that QHR and its subsidiaries have solid backing and a bright future ahead. “This is a very positive sign for us as significant investors have recognized our track record of growth and future opportunities in the market.” says Al Hildebrandt, President and CEO of QHR Technologies.

The Company issued 12,307,700 units (“Units”) of the Company at a price of $0.65 per Unit for total gross proceeds of $8,000,005. Each Unit is comprised of one common share (“Common Share”) and one-half of one common share purchase warrant (each full warrant, a “Warrant”). Each Warrant entitles the holder thereof to subscribe for one Common Share at an exercise price of $0.90 per Common Share up to 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on the date that is 12 months after the date of issue, and at a price of $1.00 per Common Share thereafter at any time up to 4:30 p.m. (Pacific Standard Time) on the date that is 24 months from the date of issue.

The net proceeds from the Offering will be used primarily to reduce debt and for general corporate and working capital purposes, as more particularly set out in the Company’s final short form prospectus dated December 16, 2010.

Durham Christian Homes has recently chosen to implement the full Quadrant Workforce suite for their payroll, hr, staff scheduling and self service needs. Durham Christian Homes was founded to provide residential opportunities for seniors.
