Brief History
Formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of QHR Technologies Inc.* - QHR Software Inc. first introduced its highly successful integrated payroll and HR application software in 1997. With continued focus on the complex needs of the Canadian Healthcare Industry, QHR introduced its powerful staff scheduling software in 2002. In early 2009, with the addition of a full suite of proven Microsoft Dynamics based financials software, QHR Software branded its combined workforce and financials management software: Quadrant Enterprise Management Solution (EMS).

Leadership
Al Hildebrandt - President & CEO
In June 1997 Al founded what is today QHR Software Inc., and developed an integrated Human Resource system that included Payroll, HR & Staff Scheduling. Al's drive was fueled by a vision to provide exceptional software solutions to the Canadian Healthcare industry and with his firm commitment to client service, shaped QHR Software Inc. into one of Canada's leading software companies.
Always innovative and forward thinking, Al is an accomplished team builder and corporate visionary who successfully leads, inspires and motivates all of his employees towards excellence. The powerful leadership team that Al has built for QHR Software is an outstanding example of his own commitment to excellence.

Larry Smith B.Sc., MBA, CMC - Chief Operating Officer
Larry was recruited as QHR Software Inc's COO to lead the company's growth phase. He is fully responsible for all areas relating to both the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company.
Larry has over 20 years of successful and proven management experience in the healthcare IT and software development industries and has held senior leadership positions in several software and healthcare companies. His B.Sc. in Health Information Science and MBA give him a unique perspective and understanding of the needs of the healthcare and social services industries. In addition, Larry is also a Certified Management Consultant, and has assisted major organizations in structuring and managing growth.
Active in the technology sector, Larry was the founding Chair of the Okanagan Science and Technology Council (OSTEC), and has served on the boards of the Science Council of BC; the local AceTech; and the Central Okanagan Economic Development Council.
Charles (Chuck) LaFleche, B.A., B.Comm, CMA, FCMA - Executive Vice President
In his role of Executive Vice President, Chuck plays a key part in both internal and external aspects of the company. In addition to heading up the QHR Winnipeg office, he helps lead and execute the strategic direction of the company. Chuck was the Founder of Momentum Healthware which was the original developer of our current Quadrant Financials software suite.
Chuck is a Fellow of the Society of Management Accountants of Canada. He was appointed to the Standards Council of Canada, is a founding board member of the Canadian Health Information Technology Trade Association; and serves on two healthcare informatics working groups for the Canadian Standards Association. As Chair of Riel Corporation (a Winnipeg economic development organization) and a member of the advisory board of the Saint-Boniface Hospital Research Centre, Chuck shares his expertise and commitment with his community.
